How do I transfer my domain name from my old host to Suncoast Hosting?

Considering a domain name transfer to Suncoast Hosting from another host or registrar? Simply choose 'I already own my domain (transfer clients)' during your Suncoast Hosting sign up process and input the domain you're transferring. Remember, you'll need your EPP Code to kickstart the transfer. Once we get your request, our team will keep you updated on the transfer progress and reach out if we need any additional help from you.

For changing your nameservers to ours, you'll need to get in touch with your current Registrar (the firm from where you purchased your domain name or hosting and domain), and inform them about your need to switch your name servers to Suncoast Hosting name servers. We'll provide the name servers once you're signed up with Suncoast Hosting.

Most registrars will let you make the changes on your own and within 24 to 48 hours, your domain name will be linked to your Suncoast Hosting account. In most instances it is within a few hours but you may need to allow for the specified 24-48 hours. You might want to look at the original email from your registrar when you first purchased the domain name, it usually has the necessary information to change the name servers, or you could just ring them up.
